"I normally wear a size 39, it fits well but I felt some pressure on my big toe, so I decided to size up (40). It was the best decision. I walked around the city in them for several hours with no pain at all. They provide good support underfoot and are very comfortable to wear. The size 40 shaft is slightly wider, but doesn’t really bother me. As I’ve found that other brands tend to have much wider shafts than JM so these are okay."
